Maserati Partners with Michigan-Based Future Energy as They Lead the Way in Electrification for Luxury Brand Vehicles

Maserati, the Italian luxury and performance automotive brand, has taken the next step in becoming the driving force in the electrification of the luxury segment by announcing its partnership with Future Energy, a leading energy solution and IoT company. Michigan-based Future Energy specializes in working with OEMs to help bring energy-technology strategy, experience, and solutions to dealerships, while building an EV charging infrastructure and performing specialized installation services. Future Energy will provide software to automate and manage chargers and energy use, highlighting Maserati’s dedication to sustainability and innovation through its cutting-edge electric vehicle offerings.

Michael Abraham, Jr., Chief Operating Officer at Future Energy, expressed his pride in collaborating with Maserati, stating, “We are honored to partner with Maserati, a forward-thinking brand that is leading the way in electrification for luxury brands. Maserati’s commitment to innovation and sustainability aligns perfectly with Future Energy’s vision, and together we will transform the landscape for luxury automotive brands.”

Recognizing the evolving preferences of consumers and the surging demand for electric vehicles, Maserati has set its sights on 100% luxury brand electrification with their upcoming electric vehicles, the GranTurismo Folgore Coupe and Grecale Folgore SUV. Maserati aims to captivate drivers seeking exhilarating driving experiences without compromising on sustainability.

Maserati’s vision extends beyond individual models, as their entire range of EV vehicles will be available in a fully electric trim by 2025, with the entire brand transitioning to a fully electric lineup by 2030. This initiative also aligns with Stellantis’ Dare Forward 2030 strategic plan, which strives to achieve carbon neutrality by 2030.

Kurt Isenberger, Program Director at Future Energy, applauded Maserati for its dedication to supporting its dealer network. “Through our partnership, we are working with all Maserati dealerships in North America to integrate comprehensive EV readiness solutions to ensure all dealers are prepared for the transition to electric vehicle sales and service. This partnership proves Maserati’s dedication to helping their dealers adapt their business processes and embrace the future of electrification.”

Maserati’s partnership with Future Energy reinforces their position as a trailblazer in the luxury and performance automotive industry. By combining Maserati’s iconic Italian heritage, ability to evoke emotion, and forward-thinking approach with Future Energy’s expertise in energy solutions and EV charging, both companies are poised to shape the future of electric mobility.
